If these drivers in the M17's are original they are a very,very late production pair of 604-8G's..I always didn't like to see stock photos in a listing,pics of actual item is what I like to see. Listing says they have the Tangerines.The Tangerines were in a very limited number of 604G's as they were gearing up for production of the 604H's..

I think these are much more rarer than the 19's.. Nice sounding speakers.. My 604-8G's have the metal phase plugs with the 23744 diaphragm.So these probably had the 23744's as well.

I actually owned G's with Tangerines. One of my regrets is sold them back in the 90's for something like 400 bucks...

Price seems reasonable--I'd love to hear what a pair of these sounds like. I agree that it's lame to use a "stock photo" in your ebay listing. Hopefully seller is willing to email photos to potential buyers.

I still do,but mine have metal phase plugs and also very low mileage 23744's They sound Fabulous...

Ouch ! They are worth quadruple that today probably.. Which would be $1600 and these come with the 620's/grills so good deal..
